Manufacturing & Custom Productions
Which Aria and Aria Pro II products are Made in Japan?
The entire The Platinum Collection is 100% Made in Japan. Each instrument in this flagship tier is handcrafted in historic Japanese workshops by master luthiers utilizing seasoned tonewoods, precise hand-dressing of fretwire, and premium electronics designed for discerning artists and elite retail showrooms worldwide.
Does Aria offer custom-made or one-off bespoke instruments?
Aria currently focuses all workshop capacity strictly on catalog models, The Platinum Collection, and dedicated signature artist programs. To safeguard manufacturing consistency, strict quality controls, and timely wholesale fulfillment for our distributor network, we do not accept individual bespoke or one-off custom build commissions.
B2B Distribution & Commercial Policy
Does Aria sell direct to individual consumers?
No. Aria operates strictly on a global B2B model and does not sell direct-to-consumer. All Aria and Aria Pro II guitars, basses, and accessories are exclusively distributed through certified regional wholesalers and sold via authorized local retail partners across Europe, North America, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
How can artists apply for the Aria Artist Endorsement Program?
Aria maintains an active, multi-genre artist endorsement roster spanning rock, metal, funk, and classical fields. We welcome applications from touring and recording professionals. Formal submissions require an updated electronic press kit (EPK), current touring calendar, discography, and media footprint.
Technical Specs, Serial Numbers & Maintenance
Can an instrument be identified solely by its serial number?
Serial numbers alone cannot verify the exact model name, production run, or technical specifications of historical Aria models. Over seven decades of manufacturing in Japan and international partner facilities, stamping protocols evolved across decades. Positive identification requires examining body wood, headstock logos, neck-heel markings, and pickup designations alongside archived catalog entries.
Can original replacement parts be ordered for vintage Aria guitars?
Original OEM replacement components for legacy instruments dating back to the 1970s and 1980s (such as proprietary bridges or obsolete active circuitry) are generally out of regular production. However, original factory parts for current active production lines remain readily stocked and can be ordered directly through authorized distributors.
Does Aria provide instrument appraisal or market valuations?
Aria Guitars does not provide secondary-market pricing appraisals, monetary estimates, or official valuations for pre-owned or vintage instruments, whether for private resale or insurance adjusters. Secondary market values fluctuate based on player condition, structural integrity, originality, and regional market demand.
Where can owner manuals and wiring diagrams be downloaded?
Comprehensive documentation, including standard factory setup dimensions, bridge intonation guidelines, and electronics schematics, is digitally preserved for retail technicians, luthiers, and musicians through the Aria Support Archive.
